The Isles of Scilly Community Research Network is about helping people on the islands who want to make research happen. We have an ongoing opportunity for part-time, project-based, paid work. As part of our community advocates programme, you will be helping people identify research ideas, support them with research design, data collection, and understanding of findings.
What’s involved:
The kinds of projects we give out can be on themes such as transport, tourism, housing, culture, health, local heritage and the environment. This could be supporting an existing project, or an entirely new idea brought forward by you or from the community. We also have our Research Hub, for which the project would be to help to identify, collate, and share research on or about the Isles of Scilly for that webpage.
